How to get a copy of a police or accident report

 

Please call, email or stop in the police station to obtain copies of police or accident reports from the Records Department.  Normal business hours for Records are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM but requests can be made 24hours a day, 7 days a week from here.  There is no charge for reports, but we do ask that you allow up to 72 hours for us to complete your request.

 

Fingerprinting

 

We do provide ink fingerprinting at no cost to you but you must supply the fingerprint cards which should be supplied to you by the agency requesting the prints.

 

Reporting frequent problems, neighborhood nuisances or suspicion of criminal activity-

 

We encourage you to call the Police Department and make a report when you see an ongoing problem.  Extra patrol requests can be made for you neighborhood.  Try to be as specific as possible about the location, time of day, description of individuals or vehicles involved and any other pertinent information that may help our Officers.  Although we do prefer a name, address and phone number when making reports, it is not required to do so.
