MEET THE DEPARTMENT
Louisville’s Service Department consists of six individuals responsible for the maintenance of 55 miles of roadway including all signs, signals, storm sewers, water distribution lines and fire hydrants. Louisville also has an on-staff mechanic who maintains the vehicle fleet of nearly 100 vehicles, off road equipment, tractors, and small engines.
The Joint Solid Waste Management District (1-800-678-9839) has yard waste drop off centers located near Louisville. Residents can take any compostable yard waste to either of the following locations.
Plain Township Fire Department, 2855 Easton Street NE (Monday, Thursday & Saturday 8am – 6pm)
