Big Bat 06/06/08 Aeros vs Herold It was a scorching hot summer day for the Aeros first big bat game of the season.  The Aeros came ready to play! Connor Morley was the first up to bat. Not only did he lead off the team in batting, but he was all over the field fielding.  Next was Colby Adams was up to bat.  After Colby crushed the ball down the third base line, the Aeros knew he was going to be one great baseball star!  Brandon Ross was next to hit the ball.  He knew exactly what he needed to do.  He hit the ball so far and fast and advanced the runners.  Molly Hopple was the fourth batter.  When Molly hit the ball she brought Conner home.  The Aeros scored there first run of the game.  Tommy was the last hitter of the first inning.  Tommy hit the ball right down the middle and brought everyone in to end the first inning.  Clay Chambers was our secret weapon that we discovered in the second inning.  Man can that kid hit!  The Aeros are looking forward to a fun, exciting season.  Everyone showed good team work and had a lot of fun!  We are proud of how well they did!
Big Bat 06/19/08 Aeros vs. Iron Birds On June 19th, and 20th the Aero's had two more amazing games!  Each of the players played hard and were ready for anything.  On June 19, Brooke Adams was the player of the game!  She was outstanding.  She pounded the ball, and ran so fast around the bases.  Then on June 20th Clay Chambers showed everyone why he should be the player of the game.  He was all over the field going after the ball.  He proved to his team mates that he can sure hit!  Those two were not the only two on the team that had great games.  Colby Adams, and Connor Morley were our key fielders.  They never let a ball get past them.  Brandon Ross also made a couple crucial plays in the field.  If you want to see a strong kid at bat you should watch Brandon hit that ball.  Tommy Warner hit the ball so hard yesterday that he brought everyone home.  Molly Hopple had a couple bit hits too.  The Aero's are excited about their next game.  If you want to see a group of kids having fun playing ball their next game is June 25th.
